Writing for publication

This interactive workshop is aimed at anyone who is writing for publication for the first time. It is open to MSc and PhD students as well as clinical staff. We will discuss the entire publication process, from choosing a journal, drafting and editing, submitting and responding to peer reviewers’ comments. Strategies for writing both efficiently and effectively will also be explored. Ideally, participants will have already undertaken some research, and be looking towards writing it up in the next 3-6 months. This could be a research project or clinical service evaluation/audit.

Harriet Shannon is a physiotherapist and a part of the Community for Allied Health Professions’ Research (CAHPR).

Adine Adonis is a clinical specialist physiotherapist, researcher and educator and a trustee of CAHPR.
