The NHS Innovation Service offers:
It provides step by step guidance for innovation including; creation, development, demonstrating effectiveness, regulation, commission and adoption of innovations. It also provides a list of innovation funding opportunities and innovation case studies.
The Health Innovation Network is the innovation arm of the NHS England. It comprises of 15 health innovation networks across England.
“The Network connects the NHS, academic organisations, local authorities, charities and industry, providing a range of practical support to facilitate change across health and social care economies, with a focus on improving outcomes for patients. Each organisation provides an Innovation Exchange, designed to support innovators at every stage of development to help them understand NHS challenges and connect them to the help they need to succeed.”

Health Innovation Research Alliance Northern Ireland (HIRANI) brings together universities, healthcare providers and industry to promote the growth of the Life and Health sciences sector. It aims to:
- Drive collaboration: To drive collaboration and connectivity across business, academia and health organisations in the life and health sciences sectors
- Act as a Voice: To act as a voice for the life and health sciences sector enabling the sector to collectively promote and strategically position itself nationally and internationally.
- Provide Easy Access: To provide a front door to Northern Ireland’s life and health sciences sector and offers simple access to the resources and expertise of the region.

Funded by the The Chief Scientist Office (CSO), there are three Regional Innovation Hubs in Scotland.
“Regional Innovation Hubs provide capacity and capability for the NHS to engage in innovation activity and create the conditions to support the development, delivery and adoption of new technologies within the health and social care system. They are an essential enabling infrastructure for industry, academia and the third sector to collaborate with the NHS, translating research into innovative products and services which can directly benefit patients and improve the NHS.”

Wales Innovation Network (WIN) aims to:
“Raise the profile of Welsh universities’ research and innovation, facilitates interdisciplinary collaboration, and makes it easier for Welsh universities to form partnerships and share infrastructure and expertise. We facilitate collaboration across universities in Wales, harnessing the diversity of research and innovation in Wales to create economic and societal impact for this and future generations.”

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) – Innovate UK, is the UK’s innovation agency. It’s aim is:
“To help companies to grow through their development and commercialisation of new products, processes and services, supported by an outstanding innovation ecosystem that is agile, inclusive and easy to navigate.”
