Member organisations and partners

CAHPR is supported by 14 Allied Health Professions organisations enabling the professions to speak with one voice on research issues.

CAHPR collaborates with partner organisations to enable research activity and strengthen the profile of Allied Health Professions research. CAHPR is actively working on projects/activities with the following organisations:

NIHR and CAHPR have set up a network of Allied Health Professions (AHP) research champions to encourage awareness of and involvement in AHP research. The AHP research champions are working with their local CAHPR hubs and Local Clinical Research Networks.

CAHPR partners with the Council of Deans of Health on policy matters affecting AHP researchers. These include joint consultation responses and work on Clinical Academic Careers Development group, hosted by the Council of Deans since 2018.  The group have published a practical resource for healthcare provider organisations, Transforming Healthcare Through Clinical Academic Roles, which can be downloaded below.
