We are recruiting for a Director of CAHPR
Become the Director of the Community for Allied Health Professions Research (CAHPR).
The Community for Allied Health Professions Research (CAHPR) has successfully established a firm foundation for representing Allied Health Professions (AHP) research and innovation that is shaping AHP influence, practice, career development and research culture.
CAHPR is a coalition of stakeholder AHP organisations concerned with the quality of patient care, CAHPR is seeking a Director to build on the organisation’s achievements and provide strategic leadership.
The Role
- Managing and developing CAHPR.
- Working with a wide range of stakeholders to foster AHP research and innovation.
- Leading CAHPR to develop and deliver the organisation’s objectives.
- Acting as the advocate for AHP research and innovation activity.
- Devising strategies for promoting research awareness and research activity and innovation amongst AHPs.
The Candidate
- Must have a strong interest in developing AHP research and innovation capacity.
- Will need demonstrable experience of successful leadership in healthcare, healthcare education, research or public policy development.
- Is likely to be a senior academic or a health policy specialist of national standing in their subject or profession.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
The Appointment
The appointment is for an initial three-year term. CAHPR is looking to fill this role by June 2024.
An honorarium of £16,000 p.a. is offered for an anticipated time commitment of 1 day per week.
